A: The answer is “Yes.” The Cyberschool architecture is designed to be open and platform neutral. It will integrate with any systems you are currently running.
Q: Is the Cyberschool platform scalable? Will it integrate with our other existing databases?
A: The Cyberschool platform is highly scalable, very manageable, and easily integrates with other existing organization databases.
Q: Is knowledge of HTML, XTML or any related web programming language required?
A: No knowledge of HTML, FTP or any other programming language is required. Cyberschool uses Content Management technology or "fill-in-the-blank format."
Q: Is Cyberschool Mac compatible?
A: The answer is “Yes!” Cyberschool is Mac and PC compatible.
Q: Is Cyberschool capable of handling multiple users' access?
A: The answer is “Yes!” You can grant or deny users' access level.
Q: Do we have to assign an employee to enter/update information?
A: No. Cyberschool provides multiple user access.
Q: What browsers does Cyberschool support?
A: Currently, Cyberschool recommends Internet Explorer 6+ or Netscape 7+. JavaScript and Cookies must be enabled.
Q: How much does Cyberschool cost?
A:: The cost of Cyberschool varies depending on the size of a district or school. It also depends on what modules a district or school desires.
Q: Are there any ongoing costs associated with Cyberschool?
A: There is a monthly hosting/recurring charge as stated in the contract.
Q: Is Cyberschool eligible for E-rate funding?
A: E-rate will pay for up to 90% of the cost of Cyberschool's Web Hosting Service. The reimbursement rate depends upon your school's eligibility, and ranges between 20% and 90%. Most schools qualify for at least a 60% discount.
Q: Is Cyberschool service classified as Priority One category for E-rate funding?
A: Yes, Cyberschool service is classified as "Internet Access" or "Web Hosting" which is a priority One category. Give us a call at 661-859-1900 x101, and we will help you get started with your E-rate application.
Q: Does E-rate pay for 100 percent of Cyberschool platform?
